FARMERS’ UNION REQUEST. COUNTY COUNCIL’S' DECISION. Total derating of rural lands for roading purposes as a medium for affording relief for the farming community was advocated by Mr A. E. Robinson, Auckland provincial secretary of the Farmers' Union, in a letter which was considered at a meeting of the Raglan County Council yesterday.
