QUEBEC, Sept. 9. A message from.Riviere a Pierre, Quebec, states that Captain, Francizek Hynek and Lieutenant Znigniew Bury•synski, Polish balloonists, who had been lost since September 2 In the Gordon Bennett balloon race, arrived there to-day. The aeronauts said their balloon was forced down in a forest more than 100 miles away. They were not injured. They had walked all but 12 miles of the distance to Riviere a PiGIT6» A search for Messrs Ward Van Orman and Frank Trotter, United States entrants for the race —the only others not reported l —is being continued. They are believed to be in some isolated part of Canada. It Is unofficially announced that the Poles won the distance event, their place of landing being about 1000 miles 'from Chicago, where they took off.
