ENJOYABLE EVENING.

AT TAWHIRI HALL. A meeting of the Matua Waikato Rebekah Lodge, 1.0.0-F., No. 75 was held on Thursday evening at Tawhiri Hall, Frankton Junction, Sister Stent, N.G., presiding. After the meeting the sisters entertained their friends at a very successful dance. The winners of the Monte Carlos were Sisters T. Musgrove and D. Gilmore, and Mr Hall and partner. Mr Kilburne supplied an enjoyable extra on his accordeon, while Bro. Roberts also contributed an extra. During the evening Sister Gilmore gave a tap dance. The music was supplied by Sister Savory (piano), A. Short (violin) and Howell (drums). Bro.‘ L. Webster, P.G-, officiated as M.C., assisted by Bro. E. De Lacy. The evening concluded with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne." Among those present were:—Mesdames F. A. Young, wearing black floral moire; B. A. Dalbeth, 'cherry satin; L. C. Hugill, white corded silk and black coatee; B. Stent, blue satin; D. Allen, green and pink georgetteMcGrath, scarlet moire; M. Miller, floral georgette; L.
