GAMING CHARGES.

PROSECUTIONB AT AUCKLAND. MACHINIST FINED £25. In the Police Court yesterday a plea of guilty was entered by a machinist, Gordon 'William Beach, aged 26, who was charged with using premises in Pitt Street as a common gaming house. A fine of £25, in default three months’ imprisonment, was imposed. A caretaker, Charles Henry Wrathall, aged 46, was charged with carrying on the business of a bookmaker. He was remanded until August 7.
