Doubles: Miss Marble and Mrs Moody defeated Misses Nuthall and Heeley, 6—4, 4 6 —1; Misses E- Ryan and Scrivncr defeated Misses L. R. C. Mitchell and Freda James, 10—3, 9—7. dOLD FROM FIJI. SUVA, August 1. Fiji has shrpped 8500 sovereigns to London. The coins have hitherto been retained as a guarantee fund but are now being sold and the proceeds invested In British currency.
