ARMED ABORIGINAL AT LARGE. SEQUEL TO ROBBERY. (From a Correspondent.) MELBOURNE, July 18. An extensive search In the vicinity of Lake Tyern is being conducted lor a half-caste aboriginal, said to he armed with a revolver. Heavy rain has fallen and made the work diffi - cult. A party of searchers headed by Constable Campbell had to ford swollen rivers and wade their way through swamps and dense scrub. While crossing the lake last night a canoe capsized and the men were obliged to swim some distance in exceptionally cold water. The search is the outcome of a robbery at Lake Tyren Aboriginal Station on June 17 when £l7 was stolen. Two men have already been committed for trial and the man now being sought is believed to have been involved .in the robbery.
