HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY,

MEETING AT RAGLAN. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The Raglan Horticultural Society held its 19th. annual meeting on Friday.

Mr F. E. Stewart, president, in proposing the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, said that Jn spite of difficult times the society had made definite progress. Entries at. the show were 908 in 1931 and 10GG in 1932. The membership had increased from 62 members to 144. Prize-money paid out. had increased by £5, besides many fresh special prizes. Thanks were due lo all who had assisted with the show. The balance-sheet showed a creditbalance of £lB 2s 4d. Officers were re-elected as follows: Patron, Mr Stewart, Retd. M.R.; President, Mr F. K. Stewart: secretary and treasurer. Mr T. F. llardey.
