RELIEF FUNDS BENEFIT.

PROGRAMME IN THEATRE ROYAL,

Practically every seat downstairs at the Theatre Royal was occupied last night, when a sacred concert organised by Mrs H. C. Ross and Mr F. Findlay in aid of the town’s needy families was held. An excellent programme was presented and met with an enthusiastic reception. In addition to selections by the Waikato Regimental and Hamilton Municipal Band, under the baton of Lieutenant A. E. Savage, songs were rendered by Mesdames lin Stuart and E. Bond, Miss R. Sutherland and Messrs J. C. McCready, E. 11. Quill, H. Worm and G. A. Wheeler, while Mrs V. Olney entertained with elocutionary items, and Mr Quill was also heard in saxophone solos. The accompaniments were played by Mrs H. C. Ross and Misses R. Findlay and M. Jones.
