CoDyrlfhL NEW YORK, July 29. -In a tennis tournament at Seabright, New Jersey, the final of the women’s singles was won by Miss Sarah Palfrey, of Brookline, Massachusetts, who defeated Miss Helen Jacobs, '6—l, 2—C, 7—5.
Miss Betty Nuthall (Britain) won the opening match of ( the Maidstone Club’s tournament at East Hampton, New York, to-day, defeating Miss Marjorie Sachs, of Boston, 6—l, 6—l ’
