THANKS.

(To the Editor.) Sir,'—On behalf of the Hamilton branch of the Unemployed Workers’ Movement I have to express thanks to the public of Hamilton who so generously supported our euchre and dance held in the Frankton Town Hall on Tuesday, July 25. Our thanks are due to the promoters (Messrs Gollop and Menzles), without whose assistance it would not have been possible to attain such a measure of success, and also those business houses of Hamilton and Frankton who contributed prizes for the dances, etc. I would also like to assure the public of Hamilton that the funds are devoted entirely to the relief of that distress which is so prevalent amongst the relief workers of Hamilton during the “stand-down" week.—l am, etc., CHARLES PARSONS, President Hamilton branch Unemployed Workers’ Movement.
