BOOKWORMS’ CRANNY.

Peter has decided to have separate competitions abhut books occasionally for the book people. He hopes those of you who read a great deal will enjoy reading what other members enjoy, and he thinks it will be. a great help for you in choosing books. Everyone loves the Anne Books. Any girl is quite sure of enjoying reading if she chooses one of them. Peter loves a book called “ The Misdoings of Micky and Mao,” by Isabel M. Peacocke and little boys would love it too, he is is sure. DOROTHY BARUGH TELLS US ABOUT THE ANNE BOOKS, I think it would be a good idea to have a Book Corner. My favourite book is " Anne of Green Gables,” by L. M. Montgomery. I like all the “ Anne " books— 11 Anno of Green Gables,” “ Anne of Avonlen,” “Anne of the Island," “Anne’s House of Dreams,” “Hainbow Valley,” “ Rilla of Ingleside " —but I prefer the first mentioned. I like the books because Anne is such an interesting and lovable person. There is not a dull minute in any of them. I have read them so often that 1 nearly know them by heart. Next week we will make a really and truly beginning, and Peter hopes you will find your Eook Corner an interesting one. Mow* afllj fee found oq
