THE AUCKLAND MARKETS. FAIR LIST OF SALES. (Ry Telegraph.—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Friday. There was steady bidding at the first call to-day, and a fair list of sales was recorded. Banking and Insurances were again in special favour. The firmness in Union Banks continued, and there were buyers at £9 7s, with, holders asking £9 9s. Farmers’ Auctioneering shares were again in demand, and buyers for “B’s” moved up to 15s, bringing in a seller at i7s 6d. Devonport Steam were offered at £1 Os 6d, and a buyer came forward at 17s 6d.
In the mining section Blackwaters showed an advance, and after a sale 9d higher at £1 6s 6d, there were still buyers at that figure.
