FEILDING. Monday. The drapery establishment of McGruer’s, Limited, was broken into during the week-end. The intruders made an unsuccessful attempt to open the safe by explosives. The. door of the safe withstood the explosive charge, although the lock was blown off and’ the mechanism shattered. The intruders removed a stun of money from the till in the shop, hut. so far as is known, no stock was removed.
