CHURCH ANNIVERSARY.

SERVICES AT ROTOTUNA

At the ..second anniversary of the Rototuna Church the services were conducted by the Rev. J. Dennis in the afternoon and by Mr Beebe in the evening. There was special singing, the choir rendering an anthem at the afternoon service and the duet, “He feedeth the ravens,” was pleasingly sung in the evening by Mrs Jdnes and Miss Thompson. Celebrations were continued with a tea, followed by i programme by Hamilton talent, organised by Miss Rose Findlay. Solos were contributed by Miss M. Blylli and Mr .McCready, elocutionary items by Miss Robinson and Mr Moore, violin solos by Master llaniorlon. and conjuring tricks by Mr Dixon. A playettc entitled “The Sevres Teacups" was staged by tlie Misses Jean Findlay, Betty Capper and Dorothy and Jean Robinson. The Rev. J. Ilaslop conveyed congratulatory greeting's from the Presbyterian Church. Tlie secretary and treasurer of the trust (Mr A. E. Thomas) submitted a statement of tlie year’s working, which showed a credit balance. The Rev. J. Dennis occupied tlie position of chairman and Miss Findlay was pianist.
