MATANGI NEWS.

MISSIONARY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Matangl branch of the Presbyterian Women’s Missionary Union was held at the Manse on Thursday. Mrs T. Thompson presided over a good meeting. The Roll-call was responded to with a Scripture text.. A letter from Miss Ogilvie, In India, was read by Mrs .T. Shaw. Mrs Hay read a very Interesting article by the Rev. ,T. U. Gray, describing a cholera outbreak at .lagadhri.

Mrs T. Thompson read of a united effort of ail the organisations of ihe church to try and augment the finances.

After the meeting Mrs Hay entertained the members.
