MacDonald are likely to remain in gaol for an additional three months, since there were no May Day reprieves. ■Last month Messrs Thornton and MacDoNald, who were employees of the Metropolitan Vickers Company, were sentenced to imprisonment on charges of alleged sabotage, espionage and bribery.
