SUNDAY CONCERT CONDUCT.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—Last Sunday found Hamilton being provided with a lo'ng-felt want —a Sunday evening concert. Permit me to congratulate our band on Its initiative and the splendid programme. It was marred by one regrettable feature —-the larrikin element. These creatures, who cannot possibly be called young men, have long been a menace to such concerts. They usually occupy rear seats and delight in interrupting items and disturbing the enjoyment of respectable citizens. On Sunday it was found neoessary to summon the police to eject some hoodlums who had continued with their insulting conduot despite three warnings from the management. The hundreds of citizens who attended will share my joy to learn that provision has been made for the prompt and unceremonious ejection of these cads at future oonoerts. This Is a splendid step, and will enable the people of Hamilton to enjoy good entertainment under perfect conditions, besides providing Inducement for performers to support such worthy oonoerts. —I am, etc., PARITUR PAX BELLO.
