CARD EVENING!

A successful 500 evening was given in aid of the Cambridge Domain Croquet Club on Saturday evening at the Triangle Tea Rooms. A sumptuous supper was provided by Miss McDevitt and ladies of the club. The winners were Miss McDevitt and Mr S. Munn.

Those present were: The president (Mrs W. Maberly), Mrs G. Martin, Mrs A. Pearce, Mr and Mrs F. Tucker, Mrs O. Gane, Mr and Mrs W. Moore, Mrs H. Speight-, Mr and Mrs S. Munn, Mr and Mrs Glanville, Mr and Mrs Brindle, Mrs Sefton, Mrs Oaten, Mrs

Steer, Mrs McLarnon, Miss McDevitt, Miss M. Boyce, Miss M. Fisher, Miss M. Kelly, Miss McFarlane, Miss Riley, Miss M. Tucker, Messrs T. Dagg, R. Dagg, P. Ilarvey, B. Nelson and J. Byrne. COMING-OF-AGE PARTY. On Saturday evening a very enjoyable party was held in the Arawa l.odgc Hall, Cambridge, to celebrate the coming-of-age 'Of Mr Eric Halliday. Mrs Cohlicutt, of Auckland, acted as hostess M.C. Music for the'dancing was pfovidcd hv Messrs C. Dodd, E. J. Buttimorc and G. Wells, while Mr W. Hallidav played an exira. Items were rendered by Messrs W. Weatherell and Hoskings.

An excellent supper was served and the toast of the guest of the evening was proposed by Mr W. Weathered, Mr Eric Halliday suitably responding.

Among those present were: Mesdames J. Williamson, Parker (Auckland)., Bervimon (Auckland), McMasters, G. Worms, A. Worms, W. Johnstone, M. Brett, Chard, L. S. Judd, S. Reynolds, Misses L. Etoel, P. Doel, N. Burse, M. Cummins, D. Webber, Turner (Auckland), F. Steen.
