RUSSIAN GOODS.
EMBARGO IN NEW ZEALAND. SUPPORT BY BUSINESS .MEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Thursday. The Chamber of Commerce resolved to-day to support the Government should it approach the British Government regarding the placing of an embargo on Russian imports similar to that imposed by Britain. The chairman, Mr Harvey Turner, said Russian exports to New Zealand had developed, but New Zealand exports to Russia had not. Other members expressed the view that the question was international, and Britain had given a good lead.
