KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR. MAN FATALLY INJURED. ' AUCKLAND, Monday. Fatal injuries were received by Mr Henry Ernest Bond, aged 33, labourer, on Saturday when he was knocked down by a motor-car while crossing Symonds Street and was run over by a following car. The llrst car did not stop after the accident. 1

WOMAN KILLED. KNOCKED DOWN BY TRAMCAR. WELLINGTON, Saturday. Fatal head Injuries were received by Mrs Mildred Pippard when she was knocked down by a tramear In Kent Terrace yesterday. Mr Frederick Doell, aged DO, who was accompanying her, was also knocked down by Hie tram. He sustained a fractured right arm, abrasions to the bead and dhock.

CAR STRUCK BY TRAM. TWO MEN INJURED. WANGANUI, Sunday. When a motor-car capsized at a street intersection and was struck by an oncoming tram last night night, Mr William George May. aged 53, married, and Mr James Ivy, 32. single, received head injuries and shock.
