TO BE RE-OPENED SHORTLY. (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) TIMARU, Saturday. It is definitely announced that the Tlmaru woollen mills, which had been olesed for over two years, will shortly re-open. Negotiations between a local syndicate ■ and the liquidators of Messrs Macky, Logan and Caldwell, the owners, resulted in the syndicate acquiring the mill property on satisfactory terms. £

The machinery has been well cared for during the idle period and is ready to commence manufacturing.
