GIRLS’ CLUB.

SOCIAL EVENING. A very enjoyable evening was spent by the members of the above club last Wednesday. The patroness, Mrs W. Fraser, was the speaker for the evening, and her address was listened to with great interest by the thirtyfive girls present. Arrangements have been made fcr a speaker for each week, or for some demonstrations in useful handicrafts, and this year’s programme of activities should prove of great interest to all Hamilton girls. At the last meeting it was decided that an invitation be extended to the parents cf the girls to attend these addresses, and no doubt many mothers will be glad of the opportunity of seeing how their girls are providing for their own social recreation.
