BRADFORD TOPS. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright. LONDON, April 20. The Bradford tops market is firm with a moderate amount of new business. Quotations are unchanged. AUOKLAND MARKETS. ■Wheat. —The market for fowlwheat is steady, prices being about 4s 6d a bushel through store. Oats. —There is very little doing in feed, which is quoted at about 2s 8d a, bushel. Chaff.—The favourable season has been responsible for a lack of demand. The ruling price is £6 10s a ton through store. Barley.—There is a fair demand for Australian, which is worth 4s a bushel clipped. Bran and Pollard.—Pollard is in firm demand, the market being steady, with prices ranging about £6 for New Zealand and £6 10s a ton for . Australian. There is only a limited de-. mand for bran, with no change in values.
Maize. —The demand for maize is somewhat slow, but the market is firm, the price being about 5s 2d a bushel through store. South African supplies are practically stopped. Potatoes. —The market Is very firm owing to restricted supplies. Pukekohe potatoes are from £5 to £5 10s a ton through store, and for Rangitlkei and Canterbury £6 to £6 10s i ton.
Onions. —The market is quiet. Ample supplies are available at £6 a ton through store. Poultry.—Cockerels, heavy breeds, prime, 2s 6d to 4s 3d; not prime, is 6d up; light breeds, prime, 2s to 3s; not prime, Is up; fat roosters, heavy breeds, prime, is 6d to 2s; light breeds, Is to Is 6d; fat hens, heavy breeds, Is 9d to 2s 6dplight breeds, is to is 6d; laying hens, heavy breeds, 2s to 2s 6d; light breeds, Is 6d to 3s; pullets, heavy breeds, best, 3s to os; smaller, is 6d up; light breeds, beat, 3s to ss; smaller, is 6d up; drakes, young, prime, is 9d to 2s 6d; smaller, is 3d up; old, is to is 6d; ducks, young, is 6d to 2s 6d: old, Is to is 6d; geese. 3s to 3s 6d; turkey hens, 3s 6d to 4s 6d: gobblers, 6s to Bs.
