AUOKLAND MARKETS. ■Wheat. —The market for fowlwheat is steady, prices being about 4s 6d a bushel through store. Oats. —There is very little doing in feed, which is quoted at about 2s 8d a, bushel. Chaff.—The favourable season has been responsible for a lack of demand. The ruling price is £6 10s a ton through store. Barley.—There is a fair demand for Australian, which is worth 4s a bushel clipped. Bran and Pollard.—Pollard is in firm demand, the market being steady, with prices ranging about £6 for New Zealand and £6 10s a ton for . Australian. There is only a limited de-. mand for bran, with no change in values.

Maize. —The demand for maize is somewhat slow, but the market is firm, the price being about 5s 2d a bushel through store. South African supplies are practically stopped. Potatoes. —The market Is very firm owing to restricted supplies. Pukekohe potatoes are from £5 to £5 10s a ton through store, and for Rangitlkei and Canterbury £6 to £6 10s i ton.

Onions. —The market is quiet. Ample supplies are available at £6 a ton through store.
