TE RAPA ANGLICANS.
NEED FOR A CHURCH. MEETING OF PARISHIONERS. There was a fair attendance at the annual meeting of the Te Rapa parishioners of St. Peter’s Cathedral district last evening. The Bishop of Waikato presided. Tlie financial statement showed that £37 6s 3d had been -collected during the year. In congratulating the parishioners on the results of the year’s activities, the Bishop mentioned that the building of a church at To Rapa to meet the needs of Hie district was under consideration. He referred to the lack of Sunday School facilities for children in the district and added that lie was making arrangements for Bible-readlng classes in thb local school. Mr. H. S. Innes-Jones was appointed warden and treasurer and nominee on llio Cathedral Chapter. The following committee was elected:—Mesdames Wilson, Smith, limes-.I ones, and Morris, Misses Wise iiml Nlshd,-Smith, and Messrs li. Hook, W. Xislict-Smilli, I‘. Barber, It. S. J linos-, I ones, 11. G. M. Norris, and G, Wilson.
