A COMPLAINT.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —Would you allow me to complain of a factory in Vlalou Street, the nuisance from which has been far worse this year, probably on account of increased business? Why did the council allow factories of this description to be erected in a district supposed to he a residential area? The houses were built before the factories were erected. I should say nothing could possibly be worse for people’s nerves.—l am, etc., A MARTYR.
