Women’s Division. Mrs Arthur Donovan presided over an attendance of thirty members at the monthly meeting of the Ngarua branch. A flower competition, “In a Garden,” was won' by Mrs Kingdon, who was presented with a beautiful bouquet, of flowers and a choice dahlia bulb, the donations of Mrs James. An appeal on the lines of that of the Governor-General was made for necessitous cases, especially in regard to clothing. Afternoon tea brought to a close a most enjoyable afternoon. Mesdames Hayward, James and Wild were the hostesses on 'the occasion. Bible Students’ Camp. Seventy members of the South Auckland Methodist Young Women's Bible Class Union camped in tlie school buildings during the holidays and left for their homes on Tuesday. The visitors were from Hamilton, Rotorua, Taupiri, Putaruru, Waihi and Tauranga. During the stay they visited places of interest and explored various mountain scenes. .Miss M. H. Herbert acted as “camp mother," and Miss It. Ticljens as camp leader.
