APPREHENBION IN BERLIN. WILL FIXTURE BE CANCELLED? United Press Assn,—Elec. Tel. Copyrig-ht. (Received April 21, 10.30 a.m.) BERLIN, April 20. Olympic Game circles are apprehensive that the persecution of the Jews may cause the Olympic committee to oancel the games, which are fixed for Berlin in 1936. The secretary of the Athletio Federation, nevertheless promises that every Olympic competitor will be cordially treated irrespective of race or colour.
It Is not he says, for Germany to decide who shall come, and the domestic ban on Jewish competitors does not concern other nations.
