LONDON, April 19. The death is announced of Mr Harry Dearth, actor and vocalist, aged 57. MR FRED HALL, M.P. LONDON, April 19. The death has occurred of Mr Fred Hall, M.P., known as the “father of the Labour Party,” aged 78. He represented the Normanton division of Yorkshire since 1905. lie started life as a miner. He was a Government Whip in the first Labour Government, 1919, and a Lord Commissioner of the Treasury, 1924.
