WAIKATO CENTRES.
NOMINATION’S REOEIVED.
NAMES OF CANDIDATES. Nominations for borough councils and borough representatives on powu and hospital boards In the Waikatooutside of Hamilton and Te Avvamutu, which closed yesterday —closed at noon to-day. There will be no election m Morrinsville or Te Aroha, only the necessary number of nominations being received for the various offices. Following are the nominations.— CAMBRIDGE. Mayor. ‘Priestly, C. M. ‘Wilkinson, A. , , As a result of a recent decision by the Cambridge Borough Council the number of councillors to constitute the council was reduced from nine to six. Waikato Hospital Board. There was only one nomination for the seat on 'the Waikato Hospital Board, the candidate being:— ‘Bell, H. A. (Unopposed). Cambridge Electric Power Board. For the one seat on the Thames Valley Electric Power Board one nomination has been received:— •Arthur, C. A. (Unopposed). _ Thames Harbour Board. There will be no election for the Thames Harbour Board this year, the body’s term of office having been extended. Mr R. Coulter represents To Aroha on the board. (* Represents sitting member.) AT HASTINGS. TWO NOMINATIONS FOR MAYOR. /ny Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, Thursday. For the Hastings Mayoralty two nominations have been received: Messrs G. F. Roach (the present Mayor), and G. A. Maddison. For the nine council seats there are 21 nominations. For two seats on the Hawke’s Ray Power Board and two on the Hospital Board the sitting members have been returned unopposed. For two seats on Ihr Napier Harbour Board there are six nominations
