SHORT MEASURE PETROL
FINE OF £ls IMPOSED. SERVICE STATION PROPRIETOR. (From a Correspondent), SYDNEY, April 12. John Stuckey, a service station proprietor, was fined £ls at the Campsie Court to-day for selling short measure of peirol. Mr Sutherland, S.M., said he was satisfied that the defendant knew ho was robbing the public. Inspector Dcgatardi said in his opinion the measure iiad . been deliberately interfered with. When six gallons were purchased, it was found to be almost one gallon short.
