BANKRUPT GUARD.
UNSUCCESSFUL VENTURE. NO CREDITORS PRESENT. There were no creditors present at a meeting in the bankrupt estate of Ladlsla Harry Scorrar, a -railway guard at Frankton Junction, before the Offlolal Assignee, Mr V. R. Crowhurst, this morning, and the meeting lapsed. -Bankrupt’s schedule disclosed unsecured creditors totalling £lls, while the surplus assets on secured debts were £123 16s Bd, leaving a nominal surplusj of £8 16s lid. Bankrupt, who is a married man with throe children, purchased a house and property in Now Plymouth In 1925 for £1550. The house had been a burden on him for the past two years and he could not afford to keep and maintain It. 'He filed so that he could get clear of the propc”ty.
