Weather mainly fair, but showery at times, especially in the high country. Temperatures mild. Seas rather rough. General inference: Though the first of a series of westerly depressions passed last night pressure is still very low from Tasmania to southern New Zealand and a continuance of the westerly type of yveather is indicated.
