CONCLUDING DAY’S RESULTS. ■ MACKENZIE TO FIRST FLIGHT. - (Special Rep'orter.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. The February meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club was concluded today in showery weather. There was a satisfactory attendance for an off day and the track was affected by the heavy rain. Following are the results:— •MANUREWA HANDICAP. Nelson Pirate was first fancy on the win to'talisatOT and second on the ■place machine with £l5B 10s and £l9l 10s respectively, while Kohewah was second and first respectively with £BB and £l9B. The winner Alattie Herbilwyn was fourth -in demand over both divisions with £47 10s and £l4B 10s, while Pearl Parrish was sixth fancy with the -place public with £llO.

Nelson Pirate broke early, Pearl Parrish going out in front to lead from Peter Abdallah, and Otara, who skipped going out of the straight. Passing the stands Pearl Parrish led Kohewah and Nelson Pirate. Pearl Parrish held his advantage along the back, where Nelson Pirate had gone up to join him in the 'lead a head in front of Kohewah and Alattie Herbilwyn. Alattie Herbilwyn was going at a merry pace here and w’as soon in the van to lead into the straight from Pearl Parrish, Nelson Pirate and Kohewah. Alattie Herbilwyn won comfortably by two lengths from Pearl Parrish who beat Nelson Pirate by three lengths. Kohewah was two lengths further away followed by Gala Day, Autumn Lu, and Otara. Times: 3.38 4-5, 3.45 4-5, 3.43 2-5, 3.45 2-5.

Winner trained by owner, Tarnahere. May Chenault was first choice on the win machine and third on the place machine with £lO9 and £l6l respectively. Te Mahanga was fourth favourite on the win machine and favourite with the place public with £Bl and £241 10s, while Edna Worthy was sixth in demand on the place machine with £175 10s.

Heavy rain started to fall prior to the commencement of this race and the programme was consequently delayed. Free Gift and Our Summer were slow to settle down, May Chenault being the early leader from Pedlar, Te Mahanga, Home Brew, Min Bells, Ariel Bell, Raider and Edna Worthy. May Chenault was still hitting out freely as they passed Hie stands the second time followed by Te Mahanga, Ariel Bell, Raider, Pedlar, Edna Worthy and Fisher in that order. May Chenault and To Mahanga piloted the field along the back, while Raider, Edna Worthy, Fisher and Gold Seam (who was making up ground fast) were the closest of the others. May Chenault was the leader as the straight entrance was reached attended by Edna Worthy, Raider, Te .Mahanga and Fisher. May Chenault went on to gain the verdict by two lengths from Te 'Mahanga who was three-quarters of a length in front of Edna Worthy. Fisher was fourth and then came Raider, Home Brew, Gold Seam, Our Summer. Times: 3.31 3-5, 3.32 3-5, 3.30, and 3.30 4-5.

Tho Pageant—Kewpi’s Guv bracket was favourite on the win machine and second fancy with the place public with £250 and £27G 10s. The winner First Flight was second and ilrst in demand on the win and place machines .respectively with £235 10s and £333 10s. while Kewpic’s Triumph was eighth choice on the place machine with £99. Kewpie’s Guy and Raydus broke before Hie field hurt fairly settled down and Pageant led along the hack from Kewpie’s Triumph, Silver de Oro and Brentlight. There was no alteration in the order of the leaders passing the stands again where First Flight, Raider and Peter Pirate were as named behind the leaders. Pageant were together with Raydus, First Flight, Peter Pirate, Brentlight and Kewpie’s Guy the closest of the others. There was little alteration in the order going along the back except that Kewpie’s Guy had improved her position. Kewpie’s Triumph and Pageant swung inlo the straight on terms with First Flight, Raydus and Kewpie’s Guy all handy. Silver de Oro was skipping a little at this stage. In the run home First Flight came through to defeat Kewpie’s Guy by three-quarters of a length, while Kewpie’s Guy was half a length further back third. Pageant was fourth with Silver de Oro, Auto Alac’hine and Peter Pirate next. Times: 4.37 2-5, 4.37, 4.39 2-5, 4.39 4-5.

Realty was second choice with £144 10s and £2OO 10s, while Free Logan was fifth fancy on the place machine with £l5O and Lady Coronado fourth choice with £l6O 10s.

Hohora was the first to become prominent from Homeward, Nelson’s Chum, Really, Lady Coronado, Silver Bingen (who broke at the start), Modern Light and Glandorc. Roll ora, Homeward and Nelson’s Chum were together passing the stands in front of Lady Coronado, Really, silver Bingen and Modern Light with Dad’s Hope well back. There was no change in the leaders along the hack where Realty (who was improving ills position), Lady Coronado and Silver Bingen were racing as named behind Nelson’s Chum. Really had gone up to the van as the straight was reached and led from Homeward, Silver Bingen, Hohora and Free Logan. Realty passed the judge two lengths ahead of Free Logan, who was one length in front of Lady Coronado, Hohora was fourth followed by Silver Bingen, Dad’s Hope, Kelp, Modern Light (who (broke early).
