WINTER SHOW.
OPENING CEREMONY.
INVITATION TO LORD BLEDISLOE
The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe is to be invited to open the Waikato Winter Show' this year, according to a decision reached at a meeting of the association this morning. “ The Governor-General opened the Show before," said the chairman, Mr W. Clark, “ but he has made himself so popular, and has been almost to every holo and corner In New Zealand, so he should be about ready for a second round!"
SUPERINTENDENTS APPOINTED.
The following superintendents of departments were appointed at a meeting of the Waikato Winter Show Association this morning:—
Dairy Division: Butter, Mr A. K. Alexander; cheese, Mr W. E. Clark; agricultural, Messrs J. Ballard and A. M. Wilson; hortTCultural, Messrs G. Clevely and R. Pick; apioulture. Messrs T. 11. Pearson and A. 11. Davies; ladies’ needlework, Mesdames Greenslade, Douglas and Bennett; home industries, Air A. J. Davison and Mrs Davison; photography, Mr A. A. Beuth; art, Mr H. G. Coombs; school, Messrs H. E. Jacka and F. Bullock; Sunday School, Mr T. 11. Pearson; school agriculture, Mr W. R. Roberts; internal arrangements and improvements, Messrs W. 11. Paul, F. A. Snell and It. 11. Clark; railway arrangements, Messrs Paul and Snell. -
