BIDDING STEADY. VALUES GENERALLY MAINTAINED (Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Saturday. Bidding at the final call of the week on the Slock Exchange was steady, with lute values generally fully maintained. Bank of New Zealands were a shade easier, with sellers still about at £‘2 ■is. South British Insurances were asked for at £2 ISs fid. and sellers who had been holding off all week came in with a limit, of £3. New Zealand Insurances bad fresh business at £2 5s 3d. Bycrofts were wanted and buyers moved up to £1 10s 9d. After Hie recent slight easing, Waihi’s steadied and wore in demand at £’l is Sd. Government stocks showed little change.
