The United Kingdom Chamber of Shipping passed a resolution expressing itself in full aocord with the policy of the'’Government in using the forthcoming World Economic Conference to promote the re-establishment of world trade prosperity. The resolution also urges the need of a “ final settlement of war debts and restoration of international credit; the removal of all restriction on international trade, including prohibitions, quotas, and exchange restrictions, and all forms of flag discrimination, including subsidies in the world markets; the removal or modification of protective tariffs, and the taking of all such other steps as may help to restore the flow of international trade based on the exchange of commodities."
