The "Pleasure Bound" Revue Company, which was In Hamilton on Wednesday night, will open a long season at Wellington to-night.
The Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company revived “ The Pirates of Penzance,” preceded by “Trial by Jury," at Sydney last Saturday night.
William Heughan, the Scottish actor-singer, who was popular here a few years ago, Is In "The Cresta Run” In London. The programme consists of ballet, singing and humour.

John Batten, the young New Zealand actor, has returned to British films. He has the lead In “Wonderful Story," a comedy-drama set In rural England.
"Our Miss Gibbs” is a popular revival In Sydney. It Is likely to have a long run.
Richard Fair, who w r as the soldier lover in ‘.‘The Barretts of Wimpole Street,” lias been spending a holiday In New Zealand. I met him in Hamilton on Wednesday, when lie told me that he hud just received a cable recalling him to Sydney for a stage engagement.
“ While Parents Sleep,” a comedy, is to he staged by J. G. Williamson, Ltd., in Melbourne, with a cast including Mona Rarlee, Agnes Doyle, Noel Boyd, John Wood and Kenrick Hudson.
The “Pleasure Bound” Revue Company had a great farewell at Auckland on Tuesday night. The theatre was packed from floor to ceiling, and members of the company wore showered with flowers and gifts. “We had a wonderful time on and off stage in Auckland,” said a member of the company lo nm, “despite the fact that it was very strenuous, with performances every aflenioon and evening, and often a rehearsal in the morning."
