CHILDREN’S PICNIC.

OUTING AT THE LAKE. RELIEF WORKERS' FAMILIES An event which marks the culmination of efforts extending over several months will take place at the Lake, to-morrow when the children of unemployed families are to be entertained at a picnic arranged by the Hamilton Relief Workers’ Social Club. The proposal was launched many weeks ago, and as a result of the support accorded the social functions conducted by the club, together \yith the assistance given by firms and individuals in the town, it ‘lias been possible to put it into effect. Nothing has been left undone to ensure a happy time for the children, and it only needs fine weather to make the outing a complete success. Provision has been made to cater for 1000 youngsters.
