INTER CLUB MATCHES.

WHITIORA DEFEAT FRANKTON.

Six teams from the Whitiora Bowling Club were engaged in an interclub match with the Frankton Club on the Frankton green oil Saturday afternoon. The visitors ran out winners by five games to one, the aggregate scores being, Whitiora 12 6, Frankton 33. CLAUDELANDS. INTER-CLUB GAMES. The Hamilton East Club met Claudelands on the Claudelands green on Saturday last. Six teams participated in very enjoyable games, three of which were won by the visitors and three by Claudelands, the latter club having the advantage on 'the aggregate score of seven points, viz: Hamilton East 117, Claudelands 124. An interesting match for Hie Matthews Ferns resulted in 'the challengers skipped by Anderson, securing the trophies. These trophies have now changed hands on three successive Saturdays and next week’s match will be watched with interest. The challengers scored on 13 ends in which the card showed a five, 'two fours, and five two’s, the balance being made up of singles.
