JQEAR GIRLS AND BOYS,— Of course there has been a great deal of exoltement during the past fortnight with Sir Charles Klngsford Smith’s successful flight across the Tasman In the Southern Cross—lt Is a marvellous plane and Peter Pan Is eagerly looking forward to the time when he goes for a flight In it. There was an enormous orowd In New Plymouth to watoh the arrival of the Intrepid airmen and a wonderful reception was aooorded them. What sultry weather we have had di/ring the week! The rain which oame was a Godsend to the farming community. Only a small letter this week. Cheerio.
