Secret Revealed After Two Months. Marriage to Son of Millionaire.

Kept a close secret for nearly two months, the romance of a millionaire’s son and a former London shop’ girl has just been revealed, says a London paper. The happy couple, Mr Bernard M. Baruch, junr., son of a noted United States banker, and Miss Winifred Beatrice Mann, of London, were married in ‘Geneva on September 19, and are believed to be on a honeymoon tour round the world. The bridegroom is 30 and a graduate of Harvard. 'Miss Mann was for five years on the ■staff of a famous Piccadilly store, and it is believed that it was there she met her future husband. In April last notice of marriage between her and Mr ißaruch was given at a London register offio®, but It was later announced that the engagement had been broken off. "Although the news of the wedding has only just leaked out," & friend of Miss Mann stated in an Interview, “I assumed some months ago, when they suddenly left for the Continent, that they Intended to get married. “Mr Baruch was very much in love with Miss Mann, who was extremely popular in the West-end.
