DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIPS. 1 (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. . The Dominion croquet tournament ‘ is drawing to a close. Mrs Scandrett, who was showing a great deal of promise, sprained her wrist and forfeits her position. A close finish was recorded in the second round -of the open championship, when A. G. F. Ross beat Mrs Clark by two points in each game. Results were:—

WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP. First Life.—Second round: Mrs Keys beat Mrs Bartlett, 26—22. Third round: Mrs Watkins beat Mr 3 Brass, 9; Mrs Keys beat Mrs Scandrett by default. Semi-final.—Mrs 'Watkins beat Mrs 'Gambrlll, 26—7; Mrs Caldow beat Mrs Keys, 26—0. Final.—Mrs Galdow won by 2 games to 1. Second Life.—Third round: Mrs Gambrlll beat Mrs TJngey, 26—3; Mrs Watkins beat Mrs Scandrett by default. CHAMPIONSHIP DOUBLES. Semi-final.—Captain Hartnell and Mrs Henderson beat E. Managh and Mrs Bartlett, 26—18. Final.—H. P. Stratton and Mrs Palmer beat Captain Hartnell and Mrs Henderson. OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP. First Round.—Mrs Clark beat Mrs Kibblewhite. Second Round.—A. G. 'F. Ross beat Mrs Clark, 26—24, 26—24. HANDICAP SINGLES. Final.—Mrs Kibblewhite beat Mrs Bassett, 26—24. NEVILLE SINGLES. Final.—'Mrs E. Managh beat' Mrs Lees, 26—16, 26—21.
