At the wool sales 8459 bales were offered, including 1450 bales New South Wales, 972 bales Queensland, 670 bales Viotorian, 704 bales West Australian, 142 bales South Australian, 3384 bales New Zealand. Approximately 6460 bales were sold at full late rates. Home and Continental competition was well sustained. Merinos, greasy, New South Wales, Orandumbie, top price, 13d, average 11 |d; Victorian, Glenlock, 12d and llfd; West Australian, Wynangoo, 104 d and 9Jd; scoured, Queensland, Wellshot, 20Jd and 19id; New Zealand, greasy crossbred, Waiheke, lid and 9d.
