COUNTRY RELIEF WORKERS. DEPUTATION TO MR WILSON. Several matters affecting the relief workers engaged on "over the fence” work in I lie country were laid before Mr F. Wilson, officer in charge of the Hamilton office, by a deputation from the unemployed to-day. The men asked that the country workers should be allowed to travel lo their jobs in working time, instead ol in their own time, as at present. They also sought a ruling on the position of men engaged on a Waikato County job. Tho deputation was given a fair and courteous hearing, and retired completely satisfied with their reception. A full report of the proceedings will be published on Monday,
