The Law Courts’ business was almost suspended In London yesterday owing to thd Illrtess of lawyers, witnesses, and offlolals. The epidemic has spread to the Continent. There have been many deaths In West Germany.

InAuenza has affected one-third of the members of the New Zealand Government staff in London. A distinguished invalid, suffering from an attack of InAuenza, is Sir Mark Sheldon, well-known Australian merchant. The death has occurred of. Mrs Kate Meybrlok, known as the "Night Club Queen," under which role she served several terms of Imprisonment for contravention of the licensing laws. She was a victim of the InAuenza epidemic.
