CAMBRIDGE DISPUTE

BOARD AND COUNCIL. JUDGMENT FOR DEFENDANTS. (Special to Times.) CAMBRIDGE, Thursday. Reserved judgment was given by Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in the Cambridge Magistrate’s Court yesterday, when Hie South Haulapu Drainage Board claimed £35 from the Cambridge Borough Council as moneys allegedly due as additional contributions to the hoard's drainage system and for alleged additional benefits to the borough.

The judgment set out that tiie council admitted liability to the extent of £5, which had been paid into Court, together with costs, l Os. Holding that under the original agreement the council was not liable, [ho Magistrate gave judgment for defendants, 'with costs £3 3s.
