VALUELESS CHEQUES.

CAMBRIDGE LABOURER CHARGED. BUSINESS MEN DEFRAUDED. (Special to Times.) CAMBRIDGE, Friday. A plea of guilty to all charges was entered by Herbert Wall, a married labourer, of Tc Miro, who appeared before Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday on three charges of issuing valueless cheques to Cambridge business people between December 1G and 24. The amounts totalled £9 19s Gd. Accused was sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment on each of the charges, the Magistrate ordering that the sentences should run concurrently.
