B. Thomson, of South Africa, who has been visiting her brother, Dr. A. S. Brewis, in Hamilton, for some weeks, left yesterday for Auckland and will sail to-day for Australia, on route for South Africa. * * # # • When .Miss Ella Shields came to New Zealand some years ago she appeared only as a male impersonator. With the revue company coming to Hamilton next week Miss Shields not only does the clever male impersonations which have won her fame all over the world, but she appears in the finale in charming feminine attire.
