COLLAPSE IN STREET. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. A severe gash to the head was received by Mr Archibald Speirs, aged 72, when he collapsed yesterday and struck his head on the pavement. ACCIDENT AT SAWMILL. ROTORUA, Monday. An accident occurred at Steele’s sawmill, Mamaku, this morning, the owmer, Mr Walter Steele, being struck on the head with a hook. His condition was reported to be serious. FALL FROM A TREE. THAMES, Monday. A girl, aged six years, Nola Louis Fisher, of Puru, was admitted to the hospital suffering from a fracture of tiie right leg, received through falling from a tree.
