EVANGELISTIC MISSION.

PASTOR CAMPBELL’S ADDRESS. Last evening at the Church of Christ, Claudelands, Pastor Campbell gave “A Talk About Love.” He said that love is the most attractive subject in the world. Mankind was created perfect by God, but the creeping paralysis of sin spoiled God’s handiwork. Nevertheless, God did not give us up, hut provided a Redeemer, through Whom all who accepted Him would yet be restored to the lost glory and more.

The speaker said the Church to-day was like a bridge he saw being built. The work caused restrictions, inconvenience and -grumbling, wiln mud and dirt about. But one day Hie barricades were removed. Then was ' seen a bridge of such beauty and strength as drew for til admiration from all. So some sec in the Church only Hie mud and dust of the building operations, the restrictions Christianity .imposes on licence (falsely called liberty); but a great Day was coming when Christ would appear, and His great work in His glorified Church would he seen and admired by the whole world.
